#3 is my vote as they would measure your specific boat and get it right and if they didn't you can fall back on them to do it right. If you do it, and you mess up, you have yourself to blame. Whoever does it, pay the little extra for thread that holds up to sun and the marine environment. You can save money be buying cheaper, not so weather proof thread, but it will fail sooner than you want and then you have repair job ahead of you.

A quality bimini is truly a work of art and takes years of experience to create. I had one on my last boat. I'd look at all the fine details in awe and imagined how much experience it must've taken to get some of the measurements and angles
