Has anyone installed AC in a beneteau 311? I'm getting ready to do the job and I'm looking for best location to install unit and pump. Any thoughts?

I have AC in my 311. The pump is mounted in the stern under the access panel for the shaft. The unit is located in the cabinet under the sink. I can take some pictures if you would like.
I've got A/C in mine as well. Everything is mounted under the sink, including a sump pump and pan for the condense.
I had to remount a pump a while back - it is a bit of a challenge getting deep below the cabinetry to work on it.

In my First 310, the unit is located under the V berth boards with the through hull just to the right of center right there and short pipe to exit water out the port side above the waterline. Air duct runs under the boards and up through the former closet on the port side forward of the bulkhead and vents directly into the main cabin. No venting to the aft cabin. Is not a problem keeping the whole house cool even on the 100 degree days. Mine is s 12,000 btu unit and is aftermarket, not factory. I would go to a 15,000 btu unit if I were doing it from scratch as I don't think it would work as hard on those really hot 100+ days.
