A/C for Catalina 28

I have an older Cruise n Carry air conditioner on my 2003 Catalina 28 and want to install A/C. Actually I will probably have it installed. I am looking for recommendations on type of unit and where to install. I plan to go to the Annapolis Sailboat Show in October and do some serious shopping.

I read an advertisment on boat air conditioners, it was I think in the Catalina Mainsheet Mag. The company was " WWW.2BECOOL.COM" and the add implied that they had KITS for Catalina including the 28. Good luck

Thanks! I was thinking that the best place for it was under the v-berth.

Mine is under the Galley sink

I own a 28 ,1990 model, the "Marine Air" was installed under the galley sink with ducts running to vee berth and over the sink...only problem is that the return air is sucked out from the cabnitry under the sink which is also open to the bilge...sometimes if the bilge is stinky, it makes the boat smell as the air is first turned on. Suggest rerouting the return air to pull out of cabin somewhere.
