I have a 1980 Cherubini Hunter H36. I recently removed and re-installed the "clam shell" over the companionway sliding hatch to deal with and investigate several requirements: 1) traveler repair/modification, 2) the sliding hatch, and 3) to inspect if some small leaks into my boat during torrential downpours might be coming from the unseen void under the clam shell.
Before I take the time to write down the process and post pictures, I would first like 36 owners (and I think also the 37's had the same setup) to express the level of interest ...
I don't recall over the last 7/8 years that I have been on SBO seeing anyone post about the clam shell and what is underneath. Maybe because this is not a problem area in general on our boats?
So let me know. Might take me a few days to get around to it.
