It was beautiful at the mouth of the Delaware yesterday 10/20/13. The winds though were right down the river so we had a two foot chop with the bow nearly going under at times. Water on the fordeck and running back most of the 3 hours. Just a few 16mph gusts with most staying at 12 to 14. The Mrs. had the helm and did quite well. We started with a double reef and changed to a single while out there and of course that is just when we got the 16's. Although, I had to tell the Mrs. not to mess with the main sheet as I, standing in the cabin, wedged myself under the boom to uncleat the luff reef line.
I forgot how this is good exercise! It was chilly but I was always doing something and was quite warm.
As some of you might be thinking, I asked the Mrs. the same question, "please tell me, if you enjoy this Why Are We Selling This boat?" Her answer, "if it doesn't sell, it doesn't sell" - I'm changing the price to $28000.
