I did it 2 years ago
This m3-20b will fit in very well. its profile will be a little higher, so that it will be necessary to have an unpholsterer make an indentation in your seat cushion above it; or you can have your seats in the dinning area raised about an inch, which is what I did since I was getting new upholstery. It takes a replacement prop which is somewhat bigger and of a diffent pitch to develop the correct power. It can push a cat-30 along at 5.5 miles per hour against a good sea and head wind which is very good. It is a high torque engne in that cruising speed is between 2500 to 3000 rpm instead of the usual 2000, so it can sound a bit noisy on a long term basis. I usually run mine at 2000 just getting in and out for a sail and it will push it along at 5mph plus in smooth water this way. At higher rpm's for long running times, I have put in my foam ear plugs. It's been very reliable and only uses about half a gallon of deisel per hour. Good luck.
