I have just bought an O'day 322. We are very excited to get it in the water. I am scheduled to get wet Monday or Tuesday. I have noticed that everytime it rains I get am getting a puddle all the way aft in the aft stateroom. I opened up the rear bulkhead and pulled the panel out that covers the Edson steering cables. I had my son go topside and start pouring water all over the cockpit floor... no leak yet. Then I looked where the water lines were on the back side of the bulkhead... Ah ha! I had him them pour water on the hump where the hole for the emergency tiller goes. I kept the cap on. I waited a few miniutes and sure enough... there it was drip, drip... I saw water dripping slowly from the quadrant where the rudder post goes up through to the emergency tiller hole. I took a plastic bag and covered the hole... I taped it down with duct tape. It rained all night and all today. IT IS STILL LEAKING!!! I am not sure what to do. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Any help would be great.Warren
