3 Bladed Prop.

Does anyone have experience with a 3 bladed prop. on a C30 Mark lll? A recent trial on one showed smooth operation at low rpms and rudder oscillations at higher rpms and 5-5.5 knots.

My older C30 has one

I just installed a three bladed last summer on my 1979 C30. You trial info is correct . . very smooth at lower RPM but rudder flutter at around 4 knots.The good news is; I have zero walk in reverse.Jerry Magnusonjerrym@wellingtonatm.com

Much the same as Jerry

I have an 86 with a 3 blade. Nearly zero prop walk. Rudder fludder is apparent. I also seem to carry more momentum in choppy seas that I did with a 2 blade.

Same , I have alot of prop walk,I run smooooooth at 4.5 knots,but I run at a very low rpm , and burn very little fuel, My top speed is 5.65 or so I get good tork and the boat stops well I have 25 hp
