Some winter projects. One is re varnishing with Dalys seafin team oil. Would like to use this on the wood floor veneer. What is the best way to clean this veneer first. Teak cleaner or TSP.etc, Any idea's.

helloI had sanded mine, then vacumed and wiped it down with a tack cloth. Over two weeks I applied teak oil three times. Once it was all soaked in, I wiped it down with a fresh tack cloth. I found murphys oil soap to leave a ever so thin layer of residue which helped keep the floor looking nice. Each year I take the opportunity to wash it down and apply one to two coats of teak oil to keep the floor looking healthy. There are two stains which I don't dare to sand out in fear of going past the veneer. They make it look homey and natural.
