Does anyone know exactly what flexible "sealant" was used to "seal" the anchor locker drain hose at the bow exit hole? I know the solution to the leak problem but was curious as to what was used originally. Thanks Roger

the bow exit hole?... is there not a thru hull fitting that the drain hose attaches to?.... the sealant that can be used to seal under the thru hull fitting could be about anything... plumbers putty, 3M-4000, silicone, boat life, ect....
but the hose should not be glued into the exit hole with sealer.
On my 25 it is a threaded stainless pipe nipple glued/epoxied into the hole in the bow. Mine loosened when I replaced the hose. I put epoxy around it on the inside to support it and used 3M4200 from the outside to seal the slight gap between the slightly recessed pipe nipple and the surrounding fiberglass. No thru hull there.

I used a piece pvc pipe epoxied into bow hole, then hose clamped drain from anchor locker. Remember if this fails in heavy weather it can be bad. I check mine every season to make sure that short section of pipe is secure.
