The current number I have is 21. The marina has given me a tally of 19 transients plus me, so I'm trying to figure out who the extra boat is.Pete- what's the current tally on number of boats to the rondevous?
Salty,Ruidh,
I am not familiar with the city island area so most likely, I'll pick up a mooring at HYC for Thursday night. I haven't started planning my route yet but I'll let you know when I have more details.

I'm thinking that the "wild card" is rOnDAYvous newbie Andy Thurman, who keeps his 272 on a mooring near Pier 40 in Manhattan. He said that if space was at a premium he might forego a transient slip at Newport and just take the PATH train over to the festivities. I'll check with him directly.UH-OH
Actually, I'm planning to be on the Brooklyn Bridge, where there's a pedestrian walkway. Hopefully, with a long enough lens, I'll be able to capture the fleet transiting the Manhattan Bridge and approaching the BB. (One alternative plan would be to head over to Pier 17 (the South Street Seaport), where I'd see you all at waterline level, rather than a bird's-eye view.)Hope we all go through together. Peter D. wants to take a picture of all our boats going under the Brooklyn bridge.

Maybe I ought to just head out on my boat and wait to escort the fleet in. For that I would have to bring along at least one crew to do the photo shoot.hey while your at it hop over to the VZ bridge and take a picture of me when I pass under it.....hopofully your get the picture and get off the bridge before Homeland security grabs your ass
