2007 Hunter 33 Spinnaker Setup

Looks pretty professional to me. For the number of times I will probably fly the spinnaker I wont be investing $700 for a custom sprint. Did you make the end caps or purchase them. It gives the unit a finished look.

I am also looking to add a radar unit in the near future . Looking to add it to the stainless steel arch. Looking for anyone who has done this and if they had a radar pole and mount made to attach to the arch.

I actually found them laying on the ground in a vacant lot working one day and added them to my hoarder stash parts bins. I was pleasantly surprised they fit perfectly when I was putting the sprit together. Try "Google", somebody makes and sells them somewhere.

Still looking for some feedback on the size of the block being used for the Spinnaker Sheets. Don't want to go too small but also don't plan on racing the boat so no reason to oversize and spend too much money. The yacht shop already seems to have direct access to my company pay system.

Remember if you use an asymmetric sprit to push the tack forward, if will have to be reported and will negatively effect your PHRF rating.

I use Lewmar blocks with snap shackles. 5/16 optimal, 3/8 max, I use the same on the tack. Tack line and sheets are 3/8". Picture attached hopefully.

Thanks Jake ...do you know of they are ~50mm or ~60 mm blocks. Spin sheets will be 3/8" s you indicated.

Bill, do you recall the specs on the tubing? i.e.6061-T6, or what and what wall thickness, OD, ID?
