I keep the tail of the line in a canvas bag on the mast to mitigate some of the exposure and to keep the lines organized.
Very nice setup!


Most boat owners I have met view the lines on their boat as a consumable.
Yup. When you consider how long they last.. Especially in fresh water.

The spinnaker halyard on our boat is from the mid 90s. Will be replaced next spring. Seriously considering switching to dyneema.

I like the Dyneema core lines with polyester (Dacron by any other name) covers. You get the strength and low stretch of the dyneema with the feel of polyester lines
