We are looking at buying a C-30 which currently has a 2-blade propeller. The boat has the Universal M-25 (21 hp) diesel so it has plenty of power. We are primarily cruisers. A friend has suggested that a 3-blade propeller would give more control. Is that true? Is it worth the extra investment? Do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages? Thanks for your input.
