14yr old Engine mount

Just the other day, I had the shop changed engine mount of my 15footer Mitsubishi Colt Plus due to oil damage. Prior to that my engine was idling nicely. Very little vibration. After the engine mount changed, I couldn't tell if my engine was running or stall without looking at the rpm meter!! Unbelieveable! There's no vibration on the steering wheel whilst waiting at traffic light. Yes engine was still purring away.
SO, I was thinking should I change my 14 yr old Yanmar 2GM20F engine mount?
There's no obvious damage to the mount or sagging as far as I can tell apart from minor rust which was cleaned and painted.
Should I or shouldn't I change the Yanmar engine mount?

I tightened mine the other day the lags were all loose had to shove popsysle sticks in some to get tightened up

if all that is correct why bother ....there is always a spot on the rpms where they run rougher than others but if they are running smooth i am not sure changing them would make any dif

Thanks Woodster. I was thinking if the new mount improve my car then new set of mount should improve my boat engine.

The picture shows one of the engine mounts replaced in my boat about 5 years ago. The yard recommended replacement based on the fact that the rubber is bulging on the left side in the picture.

I am not sorry I did the change out but did not actually notice any improvement in vibrations.

Technically, you should re-align your engine to the shaft if you replace the mounts. Quite a bit of work, so "if it works don't fix it!"
