Am looking for a gently used 125 genoa for my 27 Tall. Anyone have one that they are willing to part with?
Thanks!

The Catalina 27 is a mast head rig. The Genoa is the power house for the boat. I would lean to a 135 over the 110 to get optimum performance.

You know, I think you're right. The more I"m reading, the more I'm agreeing. I can reef if needed. I just know the 150 I currently have is too much sail for my boat and it's blown out. Thanks John!

on my masthead H31, I dropped down from a 150 to a 135. Best sail fix I did in this boat. 150 was way too much in the typical SE 15/knot winds in my area. When breeze pipes up more, I have the option to reef and still maintain sail shape.

Note having more than one sail (i.e. a large genoa and a 95%jib) gives you flexibility in your sail choice variety for changing weather.

Most boaters use a single-sail and adjust by furler. They sacrifice a little performance. They do not experience a lot of weather changes as they control it by not going out on days that are questionable. If your out for an extended period then having a few options are worth the extra funds spent.
