    Shore powered vent fan?

I imagine this has been covered elsewhere but I can't find anything. My Marinco 4" solar van didn't make it a single winter up here in Seward Alaska. The battery is already dead and won't recharge. Does anyone know any tricks to keep these things running when there isn't light for months? I...

    Can I vent?

Hi all, We’re hauling out for the summer months and needed to add some ventilation so here’s what I come up with. I figured a 12” hole was better than the 4” holes for solar vents. I’ll let you know how this turns out.

Hack to silence Marinco solar vents?

Hi there! I have a relatively new 3" Marinco solar vent, and am trying to think of a way to fully silence the motor. When I installed it I was a little surprised to find that it made any sound at all, considering how quiet PC fan technology has become. At any rate, has anyone had any success...

Preventing condensation in forepeak after sleeping

The forepeak on my 1984 C30 has no natural venting and so everything is moist and covered in condensation when I wake up in the morning. The rest of the boat stays dry, and the forepeak dries out within one hour of opening the companion way once I'm awake. I bought a Nicro 4" stainless solar fan...
