Das sind Teakleisten, die aufgeklebt, dann mit Schwarzer Masse ausgegossen und geschliffen wurden. Sieht immer noch aus wie neu.....

The port side took most of the Florida sun. The original decals are all but gone where as the you could still see them on the starboard side.

You can see where the original white stripe decals used to be. I plan to paint those back on with the original "S2 26" logo to the rear of the stripes.

I found the original short settee to be somewhat useless so I built a little chart reading desk and settee that can also be used for counter space when cooking.

Milled new oak tracks for the black sliders. Now I'm able to lift out the sliders by pulling up into the deeper upper track and pulling out on the bottom of the slider. The original plastic crappy tracks did not allow this.

Resurfaced the Galley with new formica and rebuilt the counter top. The stove is new and it was a little large so I had to build the counter top out few inches to accommodate. All the teak was refinished with Minnie wax tung oil.

All the winches are serviced and remounted. The companion way hatch refinished with Pettit Flagship varnish. Not to impressed with how it flowed on but we'll see how it holds up. All of the stantions were re-mounted and new life lines added. All the remaining deck hardware including the bow pulpit and companion way hatch where also reset. The clear lexan hatch was rubbed out and waxed. The non-skid decking was power brushed with heavy duty rubbing compound while all the cockpit and cabin flat areas were wet sanded and hand rubbed out. Finished with a coat of Collinite #925 wax

The original gelcoat was hand wet sanded starting with 220 grit, then 320, 400, 600, 800, 1200. Finished with power buffer using 3M Finish Compound and 2 coates of Collinite #925 wax. If you never used this wax before, try it. You wont be disappointed.
