We decided to buy vinyl letters rather than paint them on. It was a really good dicision for us!

I tried using a utility razor on an ned scrap piece and found that a hack saw cut the rub rail much better. I used some cardboard just to make sure the hacksay did not jerk off and scratch the paint. It did in fact jump on me and hit the cardboard. I lapped the pieces by 1/8" and then worked them together.

Bringing the rub rail around the corner of the stern took the most patience. I used a hair dryer to heat the rub rail and had to keep it on the corner much longer than when I heated the bow.
