This is some wooden davits I made. They work great while cruising. We don't have to tend to the dinghy in waves and while anchored, the dinghy doesn't bump the hull.

On the west end of Isle Royale, in Windigo harbor. The Wenona is a passenger boat that travels from Grand Portage Mn. The sail boat that was tied behind me rafted along side while the Wenona let off passengers.
