Das sind Teakleisten, die aufgeklebt, dann mit Schwarzer Masse ausgegossen und geschliffen wurden. Sieht immer noch aus wie neu.....

This next shots are from a few months after the bottom paint. Looked a lot prettier when it was fresh but the rain water affects the color

The new and hopefully improved bulk head. I instaled 3x3 oak studs on either side of the doorway and directly under the header which supports the mast. I replaced the original 3/4" bulk head with 1/2 5 ply. The port side stud is spanned over the cabin sole which has a void beneath. Though the sole is solid, i still need to get under that stud and build some support up from the hull.

The forward birth has only been repainted. Still needs trim work and a recover for the forward anchor locker.

The rudder was in bad shape. Completely saturated with water. You can see were some previous owner drilled random holes to drain. Their patch job eventually leaked as well. I dug a hole in the ground and dropped the rudder out to work on in the garage. I sanded down to the gelcoat and drilled 5/16 holes every 3x3 inches. Then i let the core dry out for about 2 months, refilled with penetrating epoxy. Put 4 cotes of barrier paint back on and bottom painted.
