Pearson 303 Galveston Bay
I need to change the zincs on my Pearson 303. My current zinc is used up. Apparently, the space on the prop shaft is very limited and a zinc cannot be easily fit. The last time it was replaced, the boat was hauled and the yard had to cut a zinc to make it work. My diver can't find a zinc that he can easily replace in the water. Have any other Pearson 303 owners had this issue? Have you found a work-around?

I may need to run a wire from the engine block to the cockpit from which I can hang a zinc over the side. I would prefer a better solution if I can find one.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Here you go, this is what we installed on our P303 when she was hauled last year. It fits on the end of the shaft and there will be enough room. Remember to use a cotterpin. You may also be able to order the same thing from this site.
