Gotta replace some worn out stainless steel sinks in the galley and head. Are the sinks bolted or screwed to the counter top from underneath or are they just glued down w/ silicone. I couldn't find anything underneath that might unscrew but it is hard to stick my head below it to get a good picture.

Also, are their exact fit replacements available?

I have had excellent luck shopping e-bay. From what I have gathered many RVs and boats use the same sinks. If you get a seller who will confirm accurate dimensions you can buy quite cheaply and know you are buying a sink that will fit.

They are just glued in, will pop right up with minimal effort. Being stainless steel I know your sinks are getting ugly looking, but they will clean/shine up nicely, regardless of how old. My wife wanted to replace ours until she used some metal polish on them and made them look new again.

Seems you have your answer. For what it's worth, I use my digital camera all the time to save time and strain to snap lots of instant photos to sneak around corners and up under stuff on my boat before i figure out how to approach the repair. With a decent 10+ megapixal and flash works great! Even laying on the deck and getting masthead shots with thr optical zoom. Amazing detail when you look at photo and zoom in more.

Common sense but comes in handy. Good luck....

Good idea w/ the camera! I gotta remember that one! Gonna try polishing up the sinks with some metal polish. I'll post some b4 and after pics when finished.

Wife just told me this evening she wants to remove the sink in the head and redo the counter to add storage space. We always use galley sink as it has a direct drain and a whale foot pump, so I won't really miss it. Without that sink and faucet a great deal of dead space can be put to better use.

That's what we had on our C25 - no sink in the head, great storage. Go for it! :)
