to get things on board working properly so all I have to do is clean it and sail it. It took one year on our C22. It took four years on our C25. It took eight years on our C34. Do we see a pattern here?

Sounds just like my weekend:
1. Clean the cockpit.
2. Wax part of the topsides.
3. Climb back into cockpit to grab some rags, dirty shoes leave tracks.
4. Clean the tracks off and wax somemore.
5. Cliimb back into cockpit to grab some lunch.
6. Clean the footprints off the cockpit floor.
7. Wax some more.
8. Climb back aboard to prep water tank.
9. Clean footprints from prepping water tank and draining faucets in cabin.
10. Repeat the above.:cussing:

Don't forget that the object of your passion is called "sailboat," not "workboat." Sail first, clean later.
