Thank you to those who responded regarding my search for hatch runners. I understand teak runners or StarBoard material could be used. Opinions on which is best? Also, the current runners’ hardware is crumbling. Once removed, could I epoxy the new runners in place? Thank you for your input! JimLooking for advice on how to best replace the hatch rails on my 1984 ODay 222. Are there any available that would work? Thought I would ask before creating my own. Jim
Typically these were screwed to the deck. Drill pilot hole in runner and into (but not through) deck, counterbore the holes so the screw heads don't show, plug with teak plugs.Looking for advice on how to best replace the hatch rails on my 1984 ODay 222.
