Dry fitting deck fix, after
1. cutting away headliner / ceiling
2. dragging out old soft wood core
(Subsequently epoxied and put back in place.)

NOTE: Somepeople do this from the top side, probably tons of discussion and disagreements buried in that.

Um, creatively getting epoxied wood core to stick "up" when working from the inside.

NOTE: You might not also have this issue, but if you do... and I think you will.

The vertical "line" you se behind the focus of these photos, is where the old chain plate block was removed.
More photos coming of that being put back.

Some photos of the chain plate block going in.

1. First looks very early, before I buffed off that foam layer that is under the actual wall covering.
(Wall covering was the burlap like stuff)
2. Second photo is the chain plate block in place, with first of possibly 6 payers of glass over it.

At this stage, the block is dixed to the hull first, then glassed over to the hull.

Final stage not shown here includes,
Putting more layers of glass
Putting wall covering back on
Putting up headliner from prior deck work
Putting back the wood box covering the chain plate.

MY LESSON LEARNED: Check the wood block along with checking the actual metal chain plate.
It an entire system that supports the stays, rigging, and ultimately mast.
