The issue is that the documents section here says the faucet is discontinued and no name is indicated on the devise either....still works fine except hot side leaking a small bit and needs a new cartridge. Cannot visually match at the plumbing store.

That's a really old school valve. If the stem isn't too chewed up, it is still useable. What you need are the washers and o-rings. Something like these from Lowe's.
