Hunter Legend 35.5 shower drain

Hi folks, I just bought a 35.5, the bilge is clean and dry.... I want to use the shower at some point, and would like to run the drain into a small sump so it doesn't pollute the entire bilge. I ran some water down the drain, and determined that it drains somewhere below the liner, then runs into the main bilge thru the limber hole. What have past owners done? There must be a fix for this....

My absolutely best recommendation is the Whale IC pump . You will never regret this choice

I would install a self-contained gray water system (collection point for numerous water sources, 12 volt pump, and fluid level actuator). Such as Johnson's 1000gph 12 v system. Gray water goes in the box and the box pumps it out. You can run sinks into it also. Easy to install.

This is exactly what the Whale system does, but no box required. It is failsafe

The box would have to fit in the bilge area, not sure if it would. Have to measure. The Whale pump is submersed? How do it work?

There is no sump box.
It’s a pump with a smart sensor on a T fitting

go to the whale site. It’s all there
