Will you change the position of the lead blocks frequently? Soft shackles take a bit more time to release and reconnect compared to snap shackles. Also as @jssailem said, watch out for sharp edges on the underside of aluminum toe rails, especially if snap shackles have been previously used. I would think the outer braid of some scrap double braid would make decent, disposable, free chafe protection on the soft shackles.Could have been a bit more clear on the purpose.
