Trip to Europe (and back) begins

@kappykaplan man you are fast! You showed me anchored before I could come down below, fire up my starlink and post - we have arrived! Clearly we are in the US.... Now I'm on the spinning wheel of "Your arrival is being processed....."

I knew it was a short hop, so was monitoring MT frequently (plus, it's the weekend, so I have more time to check the Interwebs). Looks like you had a fairly speedy trip - saw boat speed of 6.2 kts at one point.
Anybody have any suggestions for good places to hang for a week or so with the boat in San Juan Puerto Rico? There seem to be a lot of marinas there, I'd like one that isn't too high priced with decent facilities, like showers, and easy enough walking distance to food and supplies.
Or perhaps another port close to San Juan. Crew is flying into San Juan so I would like to have fairly easy access to the airport.

We are heading out in a bit to Fajardo Puerto Rico. Looks like a good wind day! I'm going to splurge and get a slip.... Yikes! hahahahhaahah

It was a spritly arrival! First, i hit bottom right at the entrance into the marina, but I was going very slow so just backed off and got in. Then, going down to my slip, the wind was tough, must us popped the fuse in my bow thruster so at the last minute, it quit... Crap, I'll have to sort that out. So there I am cross ways in the channel with crappy wind and now beyond my slip. Had to get back to straight, back up beyond the slip again and get in... As they say, any landing you walk away from is a good landing!
Now having a beer at the marina...

That's amazing really! Yeap, you caught the grounding just outside the entrance; the channel glitch and reverse... Impressive!
