Well only you can answer that one, but for me, it's sailing so neither "sitting in the sun" nor "shoveling snow".... I'd rather be sailing!View attachment 222605 Which do I enjoy more, sitting in the sun or shovelling snow?
Reminds me of the English fort at Shirley Heights protecting English Harbour! When in Antiqua don't miss the Sunday night jump-up party on Shirley Heights! Every Sunday night, it's the best time! When we tire of this sight our next direction will be up the West coast of Guadeloupe. We will depart Guadeloupe for an approximate 40nm sail to Antigua.
Here's that track:We moved around the point eastward to the bay facing the community Les Saintes (Terre-de-Haut).
Talk about lucky! We were rafted up alongside another boat but could only be there an hour. When the time was up, we went looking for a free mooring ball but none were available. As we moved towards the other side of the mooring field, a boat left so we grabbed that morning ball! Four other boats were trying to get there, but we were in the perfect place to nab it!Our Musetta fortunes continue as we found the last mooring ball in the bay. Here is an image of the town from our cockpit.

Having sailed with @jssailem I was amazed at how many posts he made about our while we were out.We moved up the western coast of Guadalupe to a small town called Deshales. Rumor has it there is good food here. I imagine @jssailem will likely fill in with pictures at some point as he is the unofficial ship photographer at this point (perhaps i should tell him that? - ah heck, he'll read it here)

There don't seem to be as many AIS coastal repeaters on Guadeloupe as in other areas you've transited. Here's a screen shot of where we are anchored off the chart plotter.
I wouldn't be surprised if the hit you did get came from a passing merchant ship. There seem to be very limited repeaters here. There don't seem to be as many AIS coastal repeaters on Guadeloupe as in other areas you've transited.
