Secondly, there is no part number for this It is not a standard fitting part…
The BENETEAU part number for the water deck fill assembly is #129432, Stainless Steel, Osculati . The European manufacturer is Osculati. My understanding is that the entire assembly is required; the cap isn't available.
Again, verify that info with Ward Richardson at Beneteau. Price it & obtain availability from Murray Yachts, Annapolis Yacht Sails or other Beneteau dealers. Or, you can order directly from Osculati (good luck with that). And again, you can always replace the entire deck fill assembly with an SAE deck fill from any local or online marine chandlery. Good luck!

I get your answer, but if you re-read the tone.. it was a put down. I solved my problem in one hour.. I measured and found the nice shiny one and paid for it. Why haven’t you done the same? I think the assumption was I am not smart enoug

I did contact Ward. The part number is actually in the plate (underneath), not on the cap. But all plates are identical -except for the naming (waste, water, diesel). Jon Boston has been helpful. The issue is - they are metric.. and so the thread are different. I will have to replace the deck assembly. I admit I am sour. Those caps were happily there until some one tried to “help” empty my tanks and grabbed the cap and a cleaning brush and then tripped on the dock.. it went flying.. I have a beautiful boat and I want it to stay that way (how I bought her, and how she is now).. The Sea Otter.

So the folks at Beneteau (dealers) can’t order a replacement? Even if you buy the entire assembly, all you have to do is replace the cap without replacing the entire deck fill / plate assembly.......less expensive (labor wise) than replacing the entire thing. Would imagine that it would take a few hours labor to remove & rebed a new one. And, you might check with Osculati, they may sell you a replacement cap only. Believe me, your cap was not the first one to go overboard! The charter co. that I chartered Beneteau’s from, had spares readily available cause clients dropped them overboard frequently.

This is a great argument against Beneteau - non-standard parts. From the Defender site of pumpout adaptors, there appear to be only three size options (given in both inches and mm): Dometic NozAll Deck Pump-Out Adapter Sounds like wherever this was originally made (France, China, Nepal ...), it would prob fit one of these. That said, I've never seen a cap-only for sale, so you may end up buying the entire deck fitting anyhow. Also, if you are not familiar with these adaptors, they save a ton of time and $hit-on-the-deck over the foam push-in thing that pumpouts use.

Dometic / Dometic Deck Fitting Pump Out Adapter is Available in (3) Different Size:
  • Model 310343502:
    • Deck Fitting Cap OD: 1-7/8"
    • Thread Diameter/Type: 1-1/2" MPT (Product Packaging Shows this Specification Only)
    • Threads per Inch: 11.5
    • Threads per Quarter Inch: 2-3/4
  • Model 310343503:
    • Deck Fitting OD 1-5/8"
    • Thread Diameter/Type: 1-1/4" MPT (Product Packaging Shows this Specification Only)
    • Threads per Inch: 11.5
    • Threads per Quarter Inch: 2-3/4
  • Model 310343504:
    • Deck Fitting OD 1-5/8"
    • Thread Diameter/Type: 1-1/4" MPT (Product Packaging Shows this Specification Only)
    • Threads per Inch: 16
    • Threads per Quarter Inch: 4 (Fine Thread)
* NOTE: Determining which NozAll adapter will fit a deck pump-out fitting requires two simple measurements from the cap of the deck fitting.
  • 1. Measure the outside diameter (O.D.) of the cap threads (A)
  • 2. Count the number of threads per 1/4-in. of thread length (B)
    • Multiply that number by 4 to determine threads per inch (TPI)
  • 3. Use Information below to determine which NozAll item number your measurements apply

So I have nice chrome and you are suggesting Green?
The green is for diesel. When an attendant lost my original SS diesel deck cap, he replaced it with a green plastic one, which I have kept. It differentiates the diesel and fresh water deck caps at a glance.

I can see you take great pride in maintaining your boat. She looks nice.

i hope you can find the part.
