Best Fill for Drill and Tap

I used some WestMarine Six-10 thickened epoxy to seal some holes and then re-drilled them.

the Six-10 comes in a cartridge with a mixing tip.

I had a tube aboard and used about half of it on small repairs. Then the remaining tube hardened and got thrown out. Much cheaper to get clear JB Weld or other quick mix epoxy. I used Maine Sail’s repotting technique and made large backing plates from 1/4 inch aluminum on mine. Probably overbuilt.

I found the following is a drop in replacement. It is close (not a perfect match) to the height, size (diameter), and taper of the existing cleats:

Suncor Stainless 10” open base cleat S-3110-0000-C
