Correct! Need to move the boat asap and don't have time to haul out, surveyor recommended this. I'll change the thru hull next time I haul for sure.I think the OP is talking about a "Shoot thru the hull" meter instead of the thru hull sensor. But I'm not sure.

Do you have existing Airmar or other transducer on your boat for depth and speed? If so, you may be able to obtain its model number and check the size. I did that on my sailboat when I purchased a new speed transducer.
thanks!You do not need a haul out to check the transducer. You can remove it (built in check valve ro minimize water entry) and insert its companion plug. Then you check the model and look up its hull thickness dimensions.
