On a steeper ramp the trailer will be lower than on a shallower ramp from the same point in relation to where the water starts.

I have a 95 and my Hunter trailer has four supports along the bunks. My bunks end three feet in front of the stern at that point.

I noticed the same thing a few times after I bought it. I have since moved the batteries under the v berth and added a second axle to the trailer. It happened most often when the locker in the cockpit were full of stuff check that first. I see a lot of boats with a tounge jack mounted on the back of the trailer to prevent that surprise, a bit easier than adding a second axle.
Did you dry the battery in the v berth on top of the water ballast tank ????

On a steep ramp be cautious about the guide on poles do not get under the rub rail.

Rick , thanks for helping sir
That happened to me once, I added some larger diameter PVC over the top of the original stuff to prevent it again. Thought it was short sided to make them the length they were.

Six inches is probably all the longer they need to be.
