I keep my '86 Catalina 22 on dry dock... and had a surprise when I showed up yesterday to go out for a cloudy day sail... apparently the motor mount on my beloved 22 had become an unsanctioned condo site... for what I can only describe as a bird-brained developer! The developer flew off in a hurry when I came around the back of the boat... but this is what she (I believe!) left behind:

Fortunately only the developer had been there... no offspring, or offspring to be, were in residence. Although it was with some remorse, I did remove the new structure and cleaned up the mess the developer made on my rudder and cockpit seats. Not sure what to do to dissuade this activity in the future... any suggestions? I'm also considering renaming the boat... currently known as "Lucky Dog"... to something else... the "Love Nest" seems appropriate... any suggestions there would be welcome as well.
Cheers,
Dave.
