You have a B& R mast rig with no back stay with a larger main that gives you an equivalent of a 135-140 genoa. The lines on deck woould also interfer with the swept back shrouds. The key is to heel no more than 12-14 degrees with sail control. So the 110 jib is max as that is the way it was designned. If you want a larger sail for light air I suggest an a symmetrical standard spinnaker.

Dave have you heard of any issues w the CDI setup stressing the forestay leading to work hardening and possible failure ?? I am moving out with the FF2 and was cautioned this week that was a concern to consider... apparently at the end connection.

In my years using CDI FF2 if not set up or maintained properly, no issues. However the internal jib halyard line after a period of years needed replaceing. Tuning is important and if loose, can cause an issue but after a period of years, standing rigging needs to be replaced due to stretch and if you see any loose strands, stop sailing and replace that specific wire rigging

thanks Dave. That is what expected based on number of CDIs on Hunters. I get mine next week. I will watch the forestay regardless.
