When I purchased my new to me 2005 Hunter 46 last January I replaced the 14 year old Sea Fire FGA 123-295 50cf fire suppression bottle in the engine room as a safety precaution. According to Sea Fire, the FG model cylinders aren’t refillable regardless of size, require replacement in kind. The cost was $300 plus sales tax and $75 ground Hazmat (it’s considered a compressed gas cylinder even though mostly liquid agent) shipping from the east coast to San Francisco, CA. If you replace it the new one will come with a 14 gauge electrical pigtail to connect to the boat's shutdown circuit. The existing 16 gauge connector on the boat side will need to be cut off. The two ends need to be spliced together, typically with a butt connector. The connection needs to be weather proofed with heat shrink (installed in advance, and then melted in place). There is no polarity with the wires. It does not matter which wire goes to which wire according to Sea Fire.
