Not so much for bringing guests to the shore/pier tho'. I do wonder if a kayak is good for a little light maintenance around the hull. It can fold up and tie to your stanchions for storage. It's rugged enough to be pulled up onto a beach. It rows nicely. I think it checks all your boxes.
Good idea. They are “tippy” so be ready for a swim if you lean to far to reach than last paint stroke.I might just try to borrow one for that.
