Les, it appeared that you were tied up earlier at a little dock South of the marina and North of the WSF dock. Was that to clear customs? Did you not clear using ROAM? Last year we tied up at the long linear dock to the East and had to walk up, in the pouring rain, passed the market to the new CBP building to renew our annual Cruising License.Safely back in the good old USA
That was the fuel dock. Customs is on the outside 3/4 way north. Local guys said it was too dangerous to man their kiosk due to snow on the docks. ROAM was still pending till I docked at customs and had the locals on the phone.Les, it appeared that you were tied up earlier at a little dock South of the marina and North of the WSF dock. If you plan on using ROAM, it helps to load all the data before you check in. The data can be entered and saved without connecting. I suspect it also works better if everyone has a Trusted Traveller ID number, Nexus, Global Entry, etc.We found that Roam is still a work in progress. Not clear how the program functions. And I do not know if you can run it if you are not trying to check in.
A project that needs a better GUI.
And this surprises you, um, how?Agent did not know haw the system worked.
