Video game sailboats

Back in the 80's I got this sailing simulator for my Commodore 64. The graphics were the overhead type. You could see the wavelets so it was kind of cool. The problem was the boat did not move. It just sat there. So I had to RTFM (yeah, it actually had a manual). Ah, as a light came on in my head. It is a sailboat so one must adjust the sails in order to get the boat to move. Did it and wow, the boat actually moved according to wind direction and sail angle. The developers were extremely keen on details like that. And best of all, one could increase the wind and your boat would broach if you did not reef the sails. Kind of cool. They don't make games like that anymore. :(

Now that looks good. Excellent point about ignored family members. ;)
I'm safe though. I can't afford them now. Maybe next Winter.

You know.... maybe SBO can sell these ?
I know from experience that trying to find them is a PITA, since they are usually sold by various developers directly.
