If you could change one thing about your boat

I think we can all agree that everyone needs a good phalanxing now and then.
As far as impractical, I want an underwater window to watch the dolphins and look at my keel. I would also like one of those diver's hatches to enter and exit the water from below deck. As far as the one thing, I think the window and it can't produce more drag on the hull, either. It is hard to resist the phalanx, though.

Do they make transparent bottom paint or you going newage with ultrasonic

To remove the ton of stuff my wife brings on the boat.... 6 coffee mugs, 2 skillets, a small library, bedding, floats, a billion bungees and clips, 6 plates, silver ware, cups... ugh!
LOL! Only 6 coffee mugs? We probably have 4 skillets - and I’m guessing 200 books in the library...

Undetectable retractable deck turret with Phalanx system.
I know, right?

Saw this at the boat show, and REALLY wanted it. Said it would put a golf ball through a utility pole. I was thinking for a power boat at the waterline.

Would look great on our foredeck.

Maybe camouflage it to look like a fender?

Wow, that's nice, but a lot of money! (You can buy a pretty good shotgun for that kind of money.) Maybe I'll try to turn one out on the lathe!

A coworker machined a .50 black powder muzzle loading cannon on a lathe. It's about 2 feet long and the barrel has an OD of about 2" at the muzzle and 4" at the chamber. Uses 209 primers inline and looks authentic.
Oh yeah and it's pretty accurate out to 100 yards.

I need to just buy a go-slow IP and live with it! My tri has not seen 9 knots this year... and it ain’t ‘cause of the wind!
...add on microwave, toaster oven, butane portable stove, 8x8’ E-Z up gazebo, four folding chairs, folding dock table, glass porthole inflatable, snorkeling gear, linens and pillows for 6, a Lehr 5 HP OB, tow a Watertender 9.4....and wonder why you’re only hitting 4-5 Kts on a H30C in 10 Kts of blow; then you’re me!

My wish is for my boat to be 40 years newer.

I’d be happy with a torpedo. I could have mounted on the wing keel of my H23 but would have to mount it on the deck of my H260. It might just even the odds 15 minutes before weigh-in.

It is pretty cool! I've only seen it fire once (well, several shots)-he brought it to my house to test fire it right after he made it. I can't remember what he used for stock for the barrel, but I will say we used a real long lanyard and stood behind a big maple tree the first few shots for safety!

Hmm, maybe a permanent deck mate, so I would never have to sail single handed. Beyond that, convert my swing keel to tungsten ballast. Keep it nearly the same weight, but put all the weight in the bottom 1/4 of the swing keel.

Can I also ask that my boat would always come with a steady 18 knot wind and flat water?

The other thing I wish my boat had would be a 5000 acre lake 300 ft from my back door.

And last, but not least, I wish my boat was like an F-22 (Farrier trimaran)

You have less than 6 days to bid, Kermit, and you just let a whole bunch of cannon happy, pirate wanna-be, sailors know about it.

Everyone here is welcome to bid. But you have to come pick up anything you win. They don’t ship. And you have to register with a credit card.
