Okay... I can see that one is a P79 transducer (the boat came with a new one... guess he was going to replace it?), next to it.... I'm not sure what that is.
Over on the other side all by her little ole lonesome is the lady-in-red... my knotmeter... right?

I'm currently working on the DC system... which if you look at the 2 pics of the wiring I found there illustrate the quality of work some earlier 'boat 'lectrician' graced this poor little Hunter with (I think I found his picture... looks like the attitude I'd expect for such a Pro! with his loose wire nuts, bare wires, poor butt connections, and rolls of tape!

So while rewiring my boat, I'm thinking I'll inspect these little gizmos too.
Suggestions on checking them out for function without the boat leaving the slip? I might be able to convince my girlfriend to dive under the hull and blow into the knotmeter to spin the little wheel... or knot...
