We're very excited to welcome back our own Head Mistress, Peggie Hall, to the Marine Sanitation forum. She'll be hanging out there for the next few weeks to answer your questions about -- wait for it -- marine sanitation. Well, that, and marine toilets, hose, maintenance, and how to manage boat odors.

And speaking of boat odors, February marks the return of Peggie's expanded and updated book, The New Get Rid of Boat Odors. Order now and you'll not only get one of the first books off the press, you'll also get an autographed copy.

Please welcome back Peggie Hall!

Well now it official that's great news to have Peggy back on watch and a new book to boot.
I gave my old book to a very nice dock neighbor and have been wondering when the new one will be out. Welcome back Peggy.

Extra credit to the first person who can tell us which is appropriate on a boat.

Hooray Peggy Hall is back! She is practical and has a sense of humor, and every boat owner needs plenty of both.

Obviously, they are both flappers. If I had to choose, I would take the woman on my boat.

Must I buy expensive "marine head" toilet paper, or will the simple, inexpensive supermarket stuff do it? Ordinary Scott Tissue do it?

It looks like Tom Dargan clicked the "Post" button a little before me. Darn!
Of course, as it turns out, my Snark only fits one person anyway. So I would put the woman in the boat and paddle alongside.

Kermie, while the one on the left could be entertaining, the one on the right might actually be useful if you needed to stem an ingress of water in a hurry. Maybe not as well as published methods though. 'just flappin.

First, welcome back Peggy. I will be putting my holding tank back in service soon and will most likely need some help. Thanks in advance.

Second, No and Yes. Scott tissue one ply does it. As always, use sparingly as it can get ugly real fast.
