We are deep into Damariscove Islands inner cove (Maine). At low tide it is about 60' wide at best. An hour ago we could not see even half way to that Nonsuch......wow black and white pics i had forgotten about them ...where was that pic taken
We have nearly worn out our radar and fog signal the last two days.. August is supposed to be clearer & crisper..well i do want to come there some day by water but that may be 18 months or better away and when i get radar and learn how to use it along with developing my sailing skills ...i have a lot to learn in a short time to do this...oh and if i live that long lol ...life is so full of surprises

We are at anchor by Campbell Island at the SE end of Eggemoggin Reach. Its been a rainy day; hoping for better weather tomorrow. We are working our way back to BBH and then back home to Bristol, RI. Came down the turnpike today and was going took you up..looks like you're out having "fun"..This sure beats the 40 nm we did today in 50' to 100' vis..
Sitting on the hook at Long Cove at 6:00 am on Vinalhaven and while there is no fog it just started raining again..... Thank God for the dodger, Bimini and side curtains.. Friends of ours came from Falmouth yesterday and pulled in here at about 8:45 last night cold, soaked and miserable, not even a dodger just Souwesters and rain gear.....We are at anchor by Campbell Island at the SE end of Eggemoggin Reach. I find trying to see through a dodger in the rain is useless when under way and will fold the dodger down to be able to see. Those things need windshield wipers!
