I finally splashed on May 31st! Launched out of Bellevue WA and sailed around Lake Washington for 4 hours or so. When we finally finished tacking our way up and into the open lake, we took one tack for probably 20 minutes at 5.5-6.2knts!!! I've never been able to sail that long without tacking before! There was a boat who we caught and passed on that leg, and another that came from upwind, turned and sailed in between us. So we had 3 boats, all around the same size, sailing on the same tack, about 75ft apart. It was so cool!!!!
Oh, and new trailer was awesome! I'm not sure if one side of the ramp was steeper or if it was just from the boat sitting lower due to the ballast, but my rear tire rubber was all that touched the water on launch, exhaust had to go under for retrieval.
