Assuming you don't have to buy the buffer, DA orbital, cutting and polishing pads, compounds and waxes for 4-500, you would easily spend 20 plus hours cleaning and polishing a 30. My 31 took at least that. So do the math. What's your billing rate per hour assuming owner provided tools and expendable supplies. I don't know, could be a deal on a boat this size, given the number of man-hours that might be involved. If it took 8 hours just to prep a 27' boat as was mentioned earlier, this might be very reasonable. Guess that's why I'm asking, so I can get a feel for the cost to out-source a job like this.
