Hi- I just bought a Catalina 28 and have found that when pulling the furling rope, the furler spins without winding the sail. Has anyone experienced this problem? Thank you.

Hi Stu- Thanks so much for your interest/response. I have been searching high and low for a brand on the furler to no avail...I'm assuming it is original. I will keep looking thru documents I have, etc.
keyse, Could be the internal turnbuckle on the drum..... but you gotta be careful when taking apart.... you should really have a manual..... all my stuff is in Florida with my boat..... and i am up North for the summer so real hard to look at it.... my boat has a Schaefer...... welcome to the site, you will have fun with that boat.... i love mine.... all the best brian
