I'll have to look closer, it's a small dot sensor, so no it does not look exactly like yours. Mine is positioned about 6 inches above the cabin floor

If it is like the attached (difficult to tell from the photo) and has an opening at the bottom then it is a 12V plug.

Except the OP said it was a "button", I think you have a point about the 12-volt or USB charger outlet. My car's dummy 12-v plug looks like the OP picture, so i wonder if he tried to pop it off? The tension mounts
