At 9:11, Comanche is motoring out. That surprised me. At 2:39, the bottom is visible. I see no prop. I guess the prop is deployed through the transom? Can anybody explain the why, what and how of motoring Comanche?
Diesel. It’s a 100 foot boat. It needs a real motor. The weight of the motor is negligible for its length . The boats halyards probably weigh more.Is that prop driven by an electric motor?
Why does a craft that was built to be a super-fast sailboat carry the weight of motor, batteries or fuel, and propeller mechanism?
